Market Issues Log

RMDS maintain a log of operational issues within the market on behalf of the participants. This is known as the Market Issues Log. RMDS issue an updated market issues log to the market once a week. The log can be viewed on the Calendar of Events on our website. This log is a register of issues that affect or potentially affect more than one market participant in the Retail Electricity Market. It is the tool used by the market forums to track and resolve operational issues in the market. It is a particular focus of the fortnightly MP Conference Call. Issues broadly fall into the following categories:

• Defects in the Market design or the central market systems (including messaging)
• Operational issues
• Data fixes.

Issues affecting only one participant and with no potential to affect another are managed on a case-by-case basis.
